They must imbibe and utilize the living truths outlined in them to enable them exercise Commanding Power for positive results.

The author deftly throws light on the terrain in which the devil operates and advances to marshal clearly the biblical truths which reveal the power we have to tap on, the defensive as well as the offensive weapons we are to use to neutralize the machinations of the devil and, in fact, destroy his power base.

Besides the strategies for achieving the same have been succinctly analyzed and the exegeses impeccably presented in the books.  

The devil is brandishing his deadly weapons, his stance set like a charging rhino; and his target: the unsuspecting Christian. With his multiple operational schemes the devil is battle-ready on the spiritual plane to maim or kill and in other situations, to whiplash and bludgeon his victims into submission.  

But God has not left us at the mercy of Satan and his cohorts. He has built up an arsenal of power-packed weapons exclusively for use by every enquiring Christian to counteract the onslaught of that dangerous foe.  

It is important for us to know that our prayers  are used by God in a very special way to break the powers of darkness. When our prayers are mixed with God’s frankincense and cast back into the earth, there is a powerful display of lightning, thunder and an earthquake (Rev 8:3-5).    

A typical example is recorded in the Book of Acts:

"And when they had prayed , the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness" ( Acts 4:31, NKJ ). 

When we send our prayers by the Holy Spirit to God's throne in Heaven, He sends them back in a way that can be seen, heard and felt here on earth. 

Apply God’s own Spiritual Missiles by releasing them through the Word of Command. The Angel at the Altar in Heaven will mix them with heavenly frankincense and cast them down as Spiritual Bombs unto the evil powers warring against you.    

This was exemplified by Paul and Silas in prison. They sent praise and prayer up to the throne in heaven. The Angel at the Altar sent  Spiritual Bombs down which shook the earth and set the prisoners free. 

The Word says , " But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God , and the prisoners were listening . Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed" ( Acts 16:25-26, NKJ ).

Ephesians 6:17 states, " Take the Sword of the Spirit".  The Holy Spirit will endorse and empower your use of the Word  in prayer. In this context it means the Holy Spirit will endorse and empower your application of the Spiritual Missiles in prayer. 

Just as in human warfare soldiers use any weapon which will help them attain victory, so in spiritual warfare apply as many of the Missiles as the Holy Spirit may lead you.The weapons of our Spiritual Warfare, says Paul, are not defensive weapons, but weapons of attack ( Cp.2 Cor.10 :4--5). 

It is noteworthy that Jesus' entire ministry was a combat against the demonic forces. The Church of Jesus Christ must do likewise. It is only through prayer that the Church can exercise this ministry.
